How about a new tradition yall?
This year we will have an easter egg hunt for the kids AND runners! That's right, find an egg along the course and you'll get a special prize!
We're hopping to have the Easter Bunny make an appearance too.. fingers crossed!
In case you don't know just yet, we are not like other races! We are not a business, we'll never wear a tie, and we won't say the right things. Our main goal is NOT to make money, rather we want to bring people together through fitness to create a sober community. If you've been with us since last year, you'll know our painful relationship with the weather, so let's pray for clear skies!

Packet Pickup
We will have packet pickup starting at 7 am on Saturday, before the race! There's never a long line and it's smooth, so don't feel the need to show up extra early. We will NOT be handing out packets before 7 am.
Timing
This race will be 100% chip-timed!
That being said, this is our first race to time ourselves, so there's guaranteed to be some hiccups. We appreciate your patience, we will do our best to resolve any issues!
You must wear your bib to receive a time!
There will be a disposable tag on each runner's bib. The bib must be worn in the front, please.
We are able to start chip timing thanks to our amazing sponsors. I cannot say it enough! More on them below!
The Course
The course will be marked at every turn and most intersections!
This race is a one-loop course through a residential neighborhood.
The intersections will NOT be monitored or blocked off. Although you have the right of way, please be aware of vehicles.
The course will have wonderful sidewalk access, please run in the street at your own risk, and watch out for "doggie landmines" in the grass! (If you see any, you are REQUIRED to post a picture and a rant on Facebook. Failure to do so will result in an automatic disqualification)
Start Line
In order to prevent grouping at the race start, we will implement an "open start"
This means that the participant will have an open window during which to begin their race.
For this race, the participant can begin anytime between 8 am and 9 am.
We have multiple air horns and would LOVE to give you a personal official start!
Awards
We will be having awards at each race this year!
Since we think you all totally rock, we will be awarding the top three overall finishers for each gender a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted, totally rad award!
The awards will be given out at 9 am, so be sure to have some donuts, fellowship and hang around to celebrate some amazing runners!
Random Stuff We Think Important
We will have a restroom this year! It will be on the west side of the parking area. I want to thank Sunfield for providing this!
Refreshments and cold (non-alcoholic) beverages will be available at Race HQ.
