This WILL NOT be the main event! The main 5K has been moved to 8 May 2021. For more information regarding that event, follow the button below.
In case you don't know just yet, we are not like other races! We know many of you have planned, trained, and looked forward to racing on this particular day. While our organizational values led us to postpone the "big event" to 8 May, we want to support all of you truly insane runners that plan to run NO MATTER WHAT! To that end, we will be having a skeleton 5K on 1 May, RAIN AND ALL! The course will be marked (minimally), we will have packet pickup so you can get your bib and t-shirt, and we will have the medals (you bring the neck)!

Packet Pickup
Due to our safety procedures, we will not be having a separate packet pickup before race day.
All runner packets will be distributed on race day beginning at 7 am.
Your packet will include your t-shirt, bib, and maybe even some swag!
Timing
This race will not be chip-timed!
It will be manually timed, but every runner will have an official time that will appear in the results.
You must wear your bib to receive a time!
The Course
The course will be marked at every turn, so don't turn unless you see a sign!
This race is a one-loop course through a residential neighborhood.
The intersections will NOT be monitored. Although you have the right of way, please be aware of vehicles.
The course will have wonderful sidewalk access, please run in the street at your own risk, and watch out for "doggie landmines" in the grass!
Start Line
In order to prevent grouping at the race start, we will implement an "open start"
This means that the participant will have an open window during which to begin their race.
For this race, the participant can begin anytime between 8 am and 9 am.
Please let the race director know before you begin so we can ensure you are timed!
